About The Position

We’re looking for a US based Senior QA Engineer to join our high-performing, fully remote engineering team. This is a senior-level role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at solving complex problems, and is comfortable leading technical initiatives across teams. You should bring a strong background in quality assurance with hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, as well as modern QA practices across APIs, web applications and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate is a confident QA leader—comfortable working in complex systems, resolving ambiguity, and driving clarity through structured test strategies.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in QA area
  • 3+ years of general QA/automation QA experience
  • Deep understanding of general QA process, test design techniques and industry standards
  • Strong expertise in scripting programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Strong expertise in automation testing and automated testing tools like Playwright/Puppeteer/WebdriverIO
  • Strong expertise in API/Integration level testing
  • Strong expertise in test data preparation and management
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Experience managing QA for projects and working in standard QA and project management tools such as TestRail, Jira, Confluence
  • Experience with white/grey box testing
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), CI/CD workflows, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience in fast-paced startup or scaling environments
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated data environments is a plus
  • Experience building or supporting admin tools and internal platforms
  • Experience using AI-assisted development/testing tools
  • Familiarity with mobile development frameworks such as React Native or Capacitor

Responsibilities

  • Supporting development lifecycle in development teams, executing manual and automated testing
  • Implementation, refactoring and improvements of the existing test automation framework
  • Participation in regression testing cycle
  • Proactively identifying quality issues and driving resolution through detailed root cause analysis and stakeholder coordination
