About The Position

The Apple Store Online team is responsible for Apple’s largest store, aiming to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy, and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. This role is for a Senior QA Automation Architect to join the Apple Store Online Operations team, managing quality validation for the Apple Store Online, Apple Store App, and partner platforms. The mission is to continuously improve the quality of information and experience for Apple’s customers, supporting the rapid expansion of the Retail digital platform into new geographies, languages, and devices. The position involves being part of a global team, driving the design and implementation of highly scalable test automation frameworks for content validations across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful, inclusive, and effective leader, detail-oriented, and comfortable with change and uncertainty in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in quality engineering.
• Strong emphasis on designing, implementing, and optimizing large-scale automation frameworks.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience in developing robust, maintainable, extensible, and scalable automation solutions.
• Experience identifying automation requirements and designing solutions to address test execution challenges.
• Experience leveraging emerging technologies like AI, ML, and LLMs to automate and optimize digital content workflows and advance content validation automation strategies.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Deep knowledge of Agentic AI and LLM driven test frameworks.
• Solid understanding of automated software testing methodologies and lifecycle, including integration testing, component mocking, and dependency injection.
• Experience Testing AI Models for accuracy, robustness, fairness, and performance.
• Experience developing LLM based automated evaluation frameworks.
• 3+ years of proven ability in machine learning, including hands-on work with LLMs.

• Design and build automation frameworks and tools with scale in mind.
• Drive adoption of automation frameworks through cross-functional partnerships.
• Design and implement highly scalable test automation frameworks for content validations across multiple platforms.
• Manage quality validation workstreams for Apple Store Online, Apple Store App, and partner platforms.
• Continuously improve the quality of information and experience presented to Apple’s customers.
• Deliver on the ever-increasing velocity of changes as the Retail digital platform expands into new geographies, languages, and devices.
