About The Position

The Apple Store Online team is responsible for Apple’s largest store, aiming to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy, and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer, and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. The Apple Store Online is seeking a Sr. QA Automation Engineer to join the Apple Store Online Operations team, managing quality validation workstreams for Apple Store Online, Apple Store App, and partner platforms. Our mission is to continuously improve the quality of information and experience presented to Apple’s customers while delivering on the ever-increasing velocity of changes as the Retail digital platform expands into new geographies, languages, and devices. You will be part of a global team, driving implementation and maintenance of highly scalable test automation frameworks for content validations across multiple platforms. You are a strong hands-on QA engineer, deeply detail-oriented, and comfortable with change and uncertainty in a dynamic work environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in quality engineering as a QA Engineer or SDET.
• Strong background in coding and implementing scalable automation frameworks.
• Deep expertise with modern scripting languages such as Python and Node.js.
• Experience writing, maintaining, and executing test automation.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (e.g. Jenkins).
• Proficiency with Software Version Control systems like Git (GitHub/Gitlab).
• Experience with API testing.
• Familiarity with server architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Deep knowledge of Agentic AI and LLM driven test frameworks.
• Experience testing AI Models for accuracy, robustness, fairness, and performance.
• Experience developing LLM based automated evaluation frameworks.
• 3+ years of proven ability in machine learning, including hands-on work with LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Own building content validation test automation frameworks and tools with scale in mind.
• Drive adoption through cross-functional partnerships.
• Implement and maintain highly scalable test automation frameworks for content validations across multiple platforms.
