About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team on a part-time basis (0.5 FTE). We are open to both in-house candidates looking for a stable team environment and freelance developers seeking a flexible long-term collaboration. In this role, you will take technical ownership of a web ecosystem dedicated to products for parents and children, balancing new feature development with platform stability.

Requirements

Extensive experience with Python, specifically Django, Wagtail, and Celery.
Good knowledge of PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with AWS (Fargate and ECS are essential).
Fluency in both Polish and English.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Terraform.
Experience with AWS Lambda and Cognito.
Ability to manage and enhance complex systems (Wagtail CMS / Django wrappers).

Responsibilities

Work closely with the client and the team to build and maintain web applications for the parenting and childcare sector.
Manage and enhance three websites built on Wagtail with React & Next.js frontends.
Handle new feature development, ongoing maintenance, and bug fixes to ensure maximum platform stability.
Develop and optimize services tailored for the marketing department.
Ensure seamless communication with the client's CRM through a dedicated Django-based wrapper.
