About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Python Developer for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution in Pennington, NJ. This role focuses on front-office applications for risk and pricing, requiring expertise in Python, REST, and ReactJS, ideally within the financial services and Global Markets domain. The position requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Requirements

10+ years of hands-on programming experience in an object-oriented language, with strong Python experience.
7+ years of experience as a senior developer on front-office applications in banking services.
7+ years of experience as a quantitative researcher and developer, with the ability to deal with domain-specific data analysis.
7+ years of experience in REST, ReactJS, or Full Stack development.
Experience and exposure to Object Databases along with Relational Databases.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Fixed Income products.
5+ years of experience in risk and pricing application development.
Experience or knowledge of Trade Surveillance and Market Misconduct in Global Markets.
Subject matter expertise to work on the client's proprietary platform.

Responsibilities

Work on front-office applications for risk and pricing.
Handle domain-specific data analysis.
Develop and maintain applications using Python, REST, and ReactJS.
