The Senior Proposal Manager is responsible for leading the Application Engineering, Customer Care, Aftermarket Sales, and Proposal functions. This position serves as the primary technical and commercial resource supporting customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders across commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, data center cooling, dry coolers, condensers, and heat transfer solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, heat transfer, thermal management, or related industries.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical or customer-facing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, refrigeration systems, and cooling technologies.
  • Proven experience with proposal development, application engineering, and customer support operations, paired with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Candidate must show proof of US citizenship/visa/alien registration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop Application Engineering, Customer Care, and Aftermarket Sales teams, while mentoring team members to build organizational capability through coaching and development.
  • Manage technical proposal development, equipment selections, and commercial quotations.
  • Support customers with product application guidance, system design recommendations, and technical solutions.
  • Drive customer satisfaction through effective issue resolution, service excellence, and partnering with Sales, Operations, and Engineering to deliver profitable solutions.
  • Identify aftermarket sales opportunities (including spare parts, upgrades, and retrofit solutions) and establish departmental KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
