About The Position

KBR is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Proposal Manager to join their dynamic team. The Senior Proposal Manager will play a crucial role in leading the proposal development process, ensuring the timely submission of high-quality, compliant, and complete proposals that meet client requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams; manage proposal schedules; craft compelling narratives that showcase the company’s capabilities, expertise, and success; and contribute to the overall success of their business development efforts. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of direct proposal management experience managing complex Government bids of $100M+
3 years of management experience.
Demonstrated ability delivering proposals that are compliant with the RFP requirements and are consistent with the direction of the capture team
Track-record of success in developing winning, compliant, compelling proposals
Experience with Shipley or similar proposal process

Nice To Haves

APMP certification preferred
Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end proposal development process, from initial RFP analysis to submission.
Coordinate with subject matter experts, writers, and contributors to gather necessary information for proposal content.
Provides leadership and direction to managers or professional staff.
Develop and maintain proposal schedules, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
Identify and allocate resources effectively to meet proposal requirements.
Write, edit, and review proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to translate complex information into compelling proposals.
Conduct thorough reviews to ensure proposals meet the highest quality standards.
Implement best practices in proposal development to enhance overall quality and competitiveness.
Interact with BD and Operations personnel to clarify requirements and address queries during the proposal development process.
Foster positive relationships across teams through professional and effective communication.
Contribute to maintaining a repository of proposal content, templates, and reusable materials to streamline future proposal development.
