Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or relevant field preferred.
  • Real Estate Sales or Associate Brokers License required.
  • Tax Credit and HUD experience required.
  • Project based Section 8 experience required.
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Minimum 5 years of property management experience required.
  • Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen required.

  • Writing articles or speaking at events related to property management is encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and directs all aspects of property management for assigned properties, ensuring alignment with company policies and owner objectives.
  • Enhances property value and optimizes financial performance.
  • Maintains compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Assesses owner's objectives and financial goals, analyzes data, and develops solutions to address issues.
  • Develops a comprehensive Business and Operating Plan for property management and operations.
  • Coordinates property operations to achieve desired results and sets performance goals for on-site staff.
  • Recruits, trains, supervises, and motivates on-site team members.
  • Provides administrative support and guidance to on-site personnel, delegating authority and responsibility.
  • Oversees income production and expense management to maximize the property’s economic benefit.
  • Implements day-to-day standard operating procedures.
  • Evaluates property performance against the Business and Operating Plan and makes necessary adjustments.
  • Communicates significant operational developments, concerns, and deviations to owners, clients, and corporate officers.
  • Engages in continuous learning and stays current with industry best practices.
  • Conducts periodic formal examinations to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Enhances professional skills by attending advanced educational courses and seminars, pursuing certifications (CPM, PCAM), and engaging in local professional organizations.
  • Identifies and reports on new business opportunities, including new construction, management changes, and ownership shifts.
  • Performs other tasks required to maintain accurate property information and undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.
