About The Position
Avesta Housing is seeking a mission-focused Senior Property Manager to lead a team, oversee daily operations, and ensure the financial and physical health of a portfolio of affordable housing properties. In this leadership role, you’ll mentor staff, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate across departments to deliver excellent service. Your work will directly support Avesta’s mission of providing quality, affordable homes for those in need.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Excellent interviewing and communication skills
- Experience assisting disadvantaged people
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prepare and monitor budgets
- Excellent leadership and analytical skills
- College Degree preferred
- Minimum of two years’ experience in managing affordable multi-family housing (LIHTC, HUD, Rural Development or similar)
- Ability to travel
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week), exempt position
