Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive property management experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience managing large-scale assets (500+ units)
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario’s Residential Tenancies Act, LTB processes, and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams
  • Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, vendor management, and cost control
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and ownership groups
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead through complexity and change
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for on-call and after-hours support

Nice To Haves

  • Lease-up and new development experience strongly preferred
  • Exposure to mixed-use or commercial/retail operations is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of operations for a newly delivered 1,140-unit, three-building community, including residential and ground-floor commercial components.
  • Build and lead your team.
  • Establish operational systems and service standards.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex resident and tenant matters.
  • Partner closely with development and leasing teams to support lease-up.
  • Oversee unit readiness and onboarding.
  • Manage construction deficiencies through to resolution.
  • Drive financial performance through budgeting, vendor oversight, and contract management.
  • Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
