Peterson is looking for a Senior Property Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and overall performance of a commercial real estate portfolio, ensuring properties are well-maintained, compliant with regulatory requirements, and positioned to maximize asset value and tenant satisfaction. Working closely with tenants, owners, and internal teams, the Senior Property Manager delivers exceptional customer service, builds strong stakeholder relationships, and ensures timely resolution of tenant concerns. The role is also accountable for financial performance, including budgeting, financial reporting, rent collection, cost control, variance analysis, and overseeing service contracts. In addition, the Senior Property Manager provides leadership and mentorship to the property management team, driving operational excellence, continuous process improvement, and effective people management.

Requirements

  • Valid Rental Property Management Licence issued by the Real Estate Council of British Columbia
  • Thorough knowledge of the Real Estate Act
  • Strong understanding of commercial property management principles
  • Strong understanding of financial management
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance
  • Strong understanding of lease administration
  • 5–7 years of progressive commercial property management experience
  • Proven ability to manage diverse property portfolios
