About The Position

This remote role may only be hired in Illinois. The Senior Project Specialist provides administrative support for projects of high complexity. The role creates and maintains project plans, tracks progress, prepares comprehensive reports, collaborates with internal and external parties, maintains project documentation, resolves escalated issues, and may serve as a leader or resource to less experienced associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience in Project, or a high school diploma/GED/equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in Project.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project plans, flow charts, and reports.
• Coordinate scheduling with internal business owners, key stakeholders, vendors, and project managers; serve as a central project control throughout the project life cycle.
• Produce reports on documentation processing, archiving, and project status; use reporting and tracking standards to measure project performance.
• Identify potential issues and improvement areas and communicate findings to appropriate parties.
• Prepare, review, and maintain project-related documentation.
• Maintain the internal project management site and ensure it contains current information about assigned projects and performance indicators.
• Perform operational and administrative tasks to support project success.
• Track progress to identify project needs and strategic objectives.
• Resolve issues.
• May act as a leader or resource for less experienced associates within the work group.

• Base pay is generally between $62,000 and $95,000. Starting pay depends on skills, experience, location, and other permitted factors.
