Lighthouse Electric is seeking a Project Scheduler responsible for tracking and updating project schedules using P6 and other scheduling technologies. This role involves close collaboration with team members to manage quantity tracking, assemble percentage complete, facilitate pull plans and lookaheads, manage PPC, and track procurement via the project schedule. The scheduler will also assist in reality capture, attend on-site coordination and scheduling meetings, and act as a mentor within project teams and the department. Key responsibilities include identifying and strategizing scheduling requirements, managing large project schedules (10,000+ activities) with minimal oversight, engaging in discussions about project financials, budgets, and constraints, and accurately forecasting and budgeting upcoming work. The role requires leveraging historical data, construction drawings, and BIM models to identify sequencing errors and drive schedules. Additionally, the scheduler will provide enterprise-level assistance by creating and QC'ing SOPs, finding global solutions for the scheduling team, onboarding and training new schedulers, and identifying creative solutions for unforeseen issues. This includes proactively communicating schedule errors to drive dates, producing advanced Time Impact Analyses for Change Order Submissions, creating and revising preliminary master schedules, identifying critical path bottlenecks and mitigation strategies, developing professional relationships with stakeholders, and conducting "what-if" analyses. The scheduler will also walk construction sites to help team members understand schedule implications.
