About The Position

Mass General Brigham's Population Health Services Organization (PHSO) is dedicated to improving care delivery and outcomes for patients and communities through innovative, value-based care models. The Senior Project Operations Associate will support key operational, data-driven, and workflow-focused initiatives across Population Health. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, evolving environment and enjoys translating complex data and operational needs into practical, scalable solutions. This is a senior-level individual contributor role supporting multiple programs, with a strong emphasis on data analysis, reporting, and performance insights.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field of Study or equivalent years of experience required.
5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the healthcare industry required.
0-1 year of team leadership experience required.
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong comfort working with, manipulating, and analyzing data.
Experience building reports, dashboards, and presenting data insights to stakeholders.
Experience with healthcare-specific project management tools and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in a Related Field of Study preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops comprehensive project plans and manages projects from initiation through completion.
Partners with stakeholders to analyze, interpret, and translate data into actionable insights and operational improvements.
Builds, maintains, and enhances reports, dashboards, and tracking tools to support program performance monitoring and leadership visibility.
Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and program needs.
Communicates regularly on project status, risks, and insights with project stakeholders.
Owns project plans for multiple large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
Provides guidance and support to project coordinators and project managers as needed.
Identifies trends, gaps, and potential risks early, analyzes impact, and develops mitigation strategies.
Leverages strong Excel and data analysis skills to manipulate data, identify patterns, and support continuous improvement efforts.
