About The Position

Mass General Brigham's Population Health Services Organization (PHSO) is dedicated to improving care delivery and outcomes for patients and communities through innovative, value-based care models. The Senior Project Operations Associate will support key operational, data-driven, and workflow-focused initiatives across Population Health. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, evolving environment and enjoys translating complex data and operational needs into practical, scalable solutions. It is a senior-level individual contributor role supporting multiple programs, with a strong emphasis on data analysis, reporting, and performance insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field of Study or equivalent years of experience required.
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the healthcare industry required.
  • 0-1 year of team leadership experience required.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong comfort working with, manipulating, and analyzing data.
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, and presenting data insights to stakeholders.
  • Experience with healthcare-specific project management tools and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in a Related Field of Study preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops comprehensive project plans and manages projects from initiation through completion.
  • Partners with stakeholders to analyze, interpret, and translate data into actionable insights and operational improvements.
  • Builds, maintains, and enhances reports, dashboards, and tracking tools to support program performance monitoring and leadership visibility.
  • Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and program needs.
  • Communicates regularly on project status, risks, and insights with project stakeholders.
  • Owns project plans for multiple large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Provides guidance and support to project coordinators and project managers as needed.
  • Identifies trends, gaps, and potential risks early, analyzes impact, and develops mitigation strategies.
  • Leverages strong Excel and data analysis skills to manipulate data, identify patterns, and support continuous improvement efforts.
