About The Position

GE Vernova's Power Conversion and Storage business is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of significant renewable energy projects across the Americas. This role involves managing multi-million-dollar solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects from contract award through successful completion, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and financial targets. The position reports to the Americas Region Projects & Services Leader and offers substantial career advancement opportunities within a leading energy technology company.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of project management, customer management experience, or related professional experience
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal, technical and commercial)
  • Demonstrated success leading and motivating multi-cultural, cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in solar and/or BESS power plant design, procurement, or construction
  • Prior experience with GE Vernova Power Conversion and Storage products and processes
  • Background in Lean / continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead major energy projects valued between $10M and $200M, spanning utility-scale solar and battery energy storage systems
  • Act as the customer champion, building trust through clear communication, proactive issue resolution, and consistent delivery against expectations
  • Own the full contract lifecycle, including reporting, receivables management, and change order and claim negotiations
  • Drive business performance across safety, quality, schedule, cost, margin, cash flow, and risk management
  • Align cross-functional GE Vernova teams and business units to ensure seamless product delivery and commissioning
  • Keep internal and external stakeholders informed on project goals, risks, opportunities, and strategies
  • Foster an inclusive, engaged team environment that achieves best-in-class project management results
  • Execute projects professionally and ethically to protect and strengthen GE Vernova's market reputation
