About The Position

The Senior Project Manager leads complex aerospace programs from contract award through delivery. This role owns full project execution, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership to ensure successful delivery of high-reliability aerospace products. This position is onsite in Goleta, CA. Founded in 2001, LHP has provided engineering services, training, and technology solutions within the transportation industry for over 20 years. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
• 7+ years of project/program management experience in aerospace or defense
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programs
• Strong knowledge of aerospace development lifecycles and regulated environments
• Excellent customer-facing, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Earned value management

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of aerospace development and production programs
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Serve as the primary customer interface for program execution
• Identify, manage, and mitigate technical, schedule, and cost risks
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain
• Manage contract requirements, scope changes, and program reviews
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, quality systems, and customer requirements
• Mentor junior project managers and project coordinators
• Risk management
