Senior Project Manager, Restaurant & Retail Construction
About The Position
Sevan Multi-Site Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to act as an owner’s representative for programs involving multiple restaurant and retail tenant-improvement projects inside airport terminals. The role extends the owner’s design and construction staff, overseeing general contractors, designers, and vendors across multiple locations. The manager leads full program delivery, including pre-construction services such as bidding, permitting, and scheduling; construction oversight, including change orders, invoicing, and punch lists; and project closeout. This is a remote-based role for qualified candidates living in Miami, Florida, or surrounding areas. Regional travel of 50–75% is required as needed, potentially including weekly site visits. Multi-shift work may be required to complete projects in active retail locations and meet aggressive schedules. The anticipated compensation range is $125,000–$138,000 for a full-time schedule, depending on market and business conditions and the individual’s education, qualifications, and experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field, or 10–15 years of relevant experience.
- Required commercial retail, restaurant, tenant improvement, rebuild, and ground-up construction experience.
- 5–10+ years of experience working directly on this type of work as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
- Proven construction project management expertise and strong knowledge of project phases from preconstruction through closeout.
- Exceptional communication skills with clients, contractors, and project teams at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and Smartsheets.
- Must live in Miami, Florida, or surrounding areas to qualify for the remote-based role.

- Multi-shift work may be required to accomplish work in active retail locations and meet aggressive schedules.
Nice To Haves
- Airport experience, including the ability to have or obtain TSA clearance.
- PMP certification.
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Executive or Operations Director in developing project proposals, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
- Lead and coordinate project teams to complete work on time, within budget, and to client standards.
- Serve as the primary client contact, communicate project updates proactively, and resolve issues.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage contractors, subcontractors, and third-party providers.
- Oversee estimating, bidding, permitting, and contract administration.
- Manage project changes, documentation, and reporting in alignment with Sevan standards and best practices.
- Implement Sevan technology solutions to enhance project delivery.
- Conduct project kickoffs and lessons-learned reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Represent Sevan in client and project meetings and foster relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
- Anticipate challenges and develop solutions to minimize risk and ensure project success.
