Senior Construction Project Manager
About The Position
JLL is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their broker-facing team within Project & Development Services. This role is responsible for leading commercial tenant improvement (TI) projects from site selection through completion, providing white-glove service. The ideal candidate will have a strategic, proactive mindset, focusing on identifying paths to meet milestones and stay within budget. This position involves managing all aspects of projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution, while balancing a fast-moving pipeline with precision. The role also includes influencing and improving team processes and templates, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and providing leadership to project teams. The Senior Project Manager will champion JLL's values of collaboration, inclusivity, and belonging.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, etc.)
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with demonstrated specialization in commercial tenant improvement projects
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion
- Demonstrated strategic thinking — able to see beyond task execution to how a project supports broader client and brokerage goals
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound, proactive decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in a related field
- Experience leading TI projects across multiple sectors, including office, retail, industrial, and healthcare
- Demonstrated experience in change management, process improvement, and driving innovation
- Knowledge of construction processes and building codes
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
