Requirements

Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field preferred
Hawaii PE license (or ability to obtain)
8–12 years of experience in building design and/or project management
Strong background across building types and structural systems
Proven ability to manage projects and mentor team members
Experience with tools such as Revit, ETABS, RISA, RAM, or similar
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Partner with the Managing Principal to lead a dedicated project team from planning through construction
Help manage and guide team members, providing mentorship and technical direction
Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and agencies
Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets
Oversee design deliverables and construction documents for quality and coordination
Conduct site visits to ensure construction aligns with design intent
Evaluate and recommend appropriate structural systems based on project needs
Identify and resolve technical and project challenges proactively
