About The Position

The Senior Project Manager - Project Delivery drives technical and commercial outcomes for renewable energy facility construction, coordinating utilities, power purchasers (offtakers), lenders, and internal teams. The role reports to the Director of Project Delivery and manages a portfolio of typically two or three photovoltaic (PV) and battery storage projects from origination through Final Completion, bringing projects online on schedule and within budget. Working with engineers, finance professionals, construction experts, and business managers, the Senior Project Manager facilitates collaboration across Nofar USA and oversees budgets and schedules throughout development, preconstruction, construction, and commissioning. The role supports asset acquisitions, leads procurement processes for construction services and critical equipment, negotiates and administers agreements, manages utility and ISO interconnection agreements, and coordinates lender reporting. The Senior Project Manager is the subject matter expert on project execution and maintains accountability among internal teams, counterparties, vendors, and construction partners. The position is remote or hybrid, with travel to projects and partners for up to 25% of the time. Candidates in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, are preferred. Requirements

At least three years delivering utility-scale solar or battery storage projects.
Experience in preconstruction.
Experience managing budgets.
Experience managing schedules.
Ability to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement and travel up to 25%.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Coordinate with EPCs on engineering and construction progress and ensure adherence to project schedules.
Oversee document submittals at key contract milestones.
Report progress statistics to senior management during steering committee calls.
Manage budgets, review and approve invoices, advance critical project transactions, and work with Nofar USA controls to maintain accurate financial reporting.
Work with engineering and procurement to confirm critical equipment specifications and ensure equipment can deliver the contracted power and is bankable.
Lead RFPs for construction services and negotiate price and commercial terms.
Consolidate EPCA comments and exhibits, lead calls to resolve comments, maintain the exhibits tracker, and negotiate the statement of values through to NTP.
Attend utility company meetings and manage utility and ISO interconnection agreements against the construction schedule.
Work with business development and finance to identify execution risks on acquisitions and supply lenders with procurement and construction information.
Report PPA milestones, track schedule risk around milestone dates, and hold vendors and contractors accountable for their obligations.
Travel to projects and partners for up to 25% of the time.
Reconcile the schedule, cost, and contract record so the project can be handed over at Final Completion.
