About The Position

Eon is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in leading the successful delivery of Eon’s portfolio of solutions to its customers. Reporting to the VP of Implementations & Support, you will leverage your expertise in healthcare IT, project management methodologies, and strong leadership skills to drive project execution, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare IT systems and proven experience managing large-scale, complex IT projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline
7–8 years of experience in project management, with demonstrated team leadership experience
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
Proven experience managing end-to-end project delivery in a technology or SaaS environment
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT projects, focusing on healthcare software implementations, system integrations, and upgrades.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Implementations, Sales, and Customer Success, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, client requirements, regulatory standards (eg HIPAA), and clinical guidelines.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Manage project resources, including internal team members, external vendors, and third-party contractors, to optimize productivity and achieve project milestones.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and key decisions.
Conduct project post-mortems and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices, driving continuous process optimization and organizational learning.
Mentor and coach junior project team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their project management skills and professional development.
