About The Position

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be involved in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors to support successful project delivery. You will develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and construction contracts, including tendering and progress tracking. You will oversee Site Plan Approval and Building Permit processes, ensuring alignment with owner objectives and regulatory requirements. You will facilitate meetings, document minutes, drive action items, and ensure compliance with client document control standards. You will provide clear, timely reporting on project status, risks, and issues to support informed client decision-making. You will administer contracts and service agreements across the project lifecycle, including closeout documentation and warranty handover. You will conduct site visits across Ontario and other provinces, ensuring Health & Safety compliance and supporting operational transition.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years post-graduate experience.
  • Experience in highly serviced sectors such as industrial warehouses, data centres, life sciences, and high-tech manufacturing.
  • Strong contract management skills and familiarity with various procurement routes.
  • Proficient in scheduling tools like MS Project and Primavera P6.
  • Collaborative mindset with a best-for-project attitude and leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement efficiencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Solid understanding of construction technical matters, including value engineering.
  • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets, report writing, and presentation development.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management.
  • Degree or certification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
