About The Position

The Senior Project Manager will lead ground-up and renovation hotel construction projects throughout the Charlotte area, overseeing all phases from preconstruction through closeout. The role manages project teams, client relationships, and financial performance, and offers the opportunity to lead high-profile hospitality projects and mentor rising talent.

Requirements

At least 8 years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong focus on hotel or hospitality projects.
Proven track record managing ground-up hotel construction projects from start to finish.
Prior experience leading project teams and mentoring junior staff.
Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore or similar platforms.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead hotel construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
Manage and mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field staff.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and key stakeholders.
Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and performance.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Drive risk management, cost control, and change order processes.
Coordinate with field leadership to support seamless project delivery.
Maintain focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
