The successful candidates for the Senior Project Manager positions will become key members of the Technology and Customer Experience (TCX), Delivery, Planning and Governance Reporting (DPGR) team. This job posting seeks to fill two Senior Project Manager positions in the DPGR unit: Senior Project Manager – Discretionary Project Delivery (DPD). The successful candidate will lead the Discretionary Project Delivery branch, and report to DPGR’s Manager. DPD branch is responsible for Project Management of large discretionary technology projects. The branch will refine and be the owners of PMO framework to enable effective and transparent control of scope, risk, budget, reporting, forecast and change. The branch will develop project management tracking and reporting tools, with a view to establishing processes for technology projects related to change management, business case creation, benefit monitoring, reporting, etc. Senior Project Manager – Discretionary Portfolio Management (DPM). The successful candidate will lead the Discretionary Portfolio Management branch and report to DPGR’s Manager. DPM branch is responsible for Toronto Water's technology projects’ governance, reporting and intake management. The branch will establish / refine the tools and processes for assessing innovative technology ideas through a technology-oriented business case process and provide business case development support as a service to anyone in Toronto Water with technology-related needs and ideas. The branch will track, prioritize, and report on the submitted business cases and ongoing technology projects across the division to the Technology Steering Committee.
