About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Transportation Practice in Syracuse, NY, reporting to the Sr Project Director, to support the delivery of projects with a particular focus on Roads, Bridges, and Tolls. Your role Project Planning & Execution: · Leads the project team in executing all phases of the project lifecycle. · Independently develops and manages project scope, schedule, and budget. · Develops and implements comprehensive Project Management Plans. Financial Management: · Manages all financial aspects of the project. · Approves subconsultant and vendor invoices. · Proactively identifies and manages budget variances and communicates financial performance to senior management. Client & Stakeholder Management: · Serves as the primary point of contact for the client. · Leads contract negotiations. · Represents the firm and client at public hearings and regulatory meetings. Team Leadership & Business Development: · Leads and directs multi-disciplinary project teams. · Mentors Project Managers and Associate PMs. · Identifies new business opportunities and participates in proposals

Requirements

• Professional Engineer License is required
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• 15+ years professional experience
• 5-8 years of direct project management experience

• Graduate degree is desirable
