About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to drive and deliver strategic and innovative outcomes across several of our national accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for setting and executing the account’s strategy for capital projects, across multi-site portfolios. This role will lead the collaboration and communication with internal and external stakeholders. It will involve leading projects from the initial design phases, through post-construction completion and on to achieving high levels of repeat business. This position requires a knowledge of manufacturing, industrial, commercial, and office sectors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a university preferred; degree in construction management, cost management, building sciences, technical, mechanical, electrical engineering preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted for education.
  • Expert in use of Project Management software, especially Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of cost estimating and budget management
  • Skilled in computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with team members and with customers at all levels of an organization
  • High level of organization and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams
  • Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional projects and programs end-to-end using a formal ISS Global process
  • Lead collaborative workshops with the client(s) to set expectations for project objectives, including cost, timing and quality expectations
  • Develop and manage the project schedule
  • Develop and deliver on margin expectations
  • Chair meetings (internal and external) with clear follow-through and close-out of actions and risks
  • Build and maintain strong supply chain relationships, including with architects, engineers and sub-contractors
  • Lead the permit process with local governing authorities
  • Prepare project reports, encompassing key project updates and financial tracking
  • Collaborate with ISS HSE and legal teams to ensure the safe and contractual delivery of projects
  • Continuously seek new ideas and make improvements to processes, templates and tools
  • Lead and manage new RFPs for existing and new customers
  • Collaborate with internal ISS teams to ensure alignment with account success
  • Proactively manage risks and mitigation plans
  • Track and document critical project components and milestones
