The role is responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with applicable standards. The position reports directly to the Program Planning and Assurance Department and serves as the primary interface with the PSS organization, working closely with PSS Engineering and other stakeholders to support successful project delivery. The role manages small projects with a total project cost under $5 million through their full lifecycles. The schedule is four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, subject to change. Work beyond 40 hours per week and occasional off-shift work may be requested to meet project, activity, or emergency needs. Field activities may take place in austere conditions. The position requires a pre-placement physical examination, including a drug screen, and a valid driver's license. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship and at least 18 years of age. Candidates who are not local must be willing to relocate; a relocation package is available. The annual salary range is $100,755.20–$151,132.80. Starting salary depends on the position's market value, the candidate's education and experience, and internal equity.
