About The Position

The Senior Project Manager for Pathways to Behavioral Health and Well-Being in Texas Population Impacts of Sexual Violence (PATHWAYS–TX) project is responsible for day-to-day project management, coordination of data collection, oversight of fieldwork, data management, qualitative data collection and analysis, partner communication, and logistical support for dissemination activities. This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree with four years of research, evaluation, and project management experience, or equivalent.
  • Experience and knowledge working with traumatized populations.
  • Demonstrated or expressed interest in collaborative teamwork and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated interest in public scholarship, community engagement, social change and transformation.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in office at least three days a week.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Values the contributions of others in the work environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to present acceptable and original documents to prove identity and authorization to work in the United States no later than the third day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, Public Policy, or related field.
  • Knowledge and experience conducting research, evaluation, or program management in the field of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, and/or human trafficking.
  • Quantitative data analysis experience (SPSS, Excel).
  • Experience in qualitative data analysis software (NVIVO, Atlas.ti, Dedoose).
  • Experience with training or teaching experience (or similar skills).
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Prior experience working with the Institute for Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse (IDVSA).
  • Ability to speak and write in Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic planning and oversight.
  • Coordinate all planning and scheduling of research and operational activities.
  • Develop project timelines, deliverables, and research frameworks in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create strategies and implementation plans to address evolving project needs.
  • Conduct original research on sexual violence and mental health, including tenets of trauma-informed care.
  • Direct all phases of data operations, including collection, analysis, and reporting, with strict adherence to ethical standards and methodological rigor.
  • Manage data systems to ensure confidentiality protections are upheld.
  • Oversee compliance with the established data archival plan.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for funders, policymakers, and academic audiences.
  • Prepare articles for academic publication.
  • Represent the project in public forums, professional conferences, and other engagements.
  • Serve as liaison to public and private organizations, including state agencies, community organizations, and survivors.
  • Oversee business and personnel operations, including meeting schedules, budget management and compliance.
  • Ensure alignment with university policies and grant requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
