The Domestic Violence Advocate provides trauma-informed direct services, crisis intervention, safety planning, and supportive advocacy to survivors of Domestic Violence (DV), Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), Sexual Assault (SA), Stalking, and Teen Dating Violence, and their dependents. The Advocate’s primary goal is to empower survivors by connecting them with essential resources, helping them navigate complex systems (legal, housing, medical), and supporting their journey toward safety and self-sufficiency. This role requires empathy, strong boundary setting, cultural responsiveness, and adherence to strict confidentiality protocols.
