Senior Project Manager
About The Position
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving the long-term growth and operational excellence of our organization. In this position, you will help shape and execute a portfolio of strategic projects. This includes growth into new and existing markets (Greenfields), site expansions and reconfigurations, and other major initiatives that support both short and long-term objectives. You will coordinate and oversee a collection of interdependent projects across the organization, partnering closely with regional leadership on project selection, prioritization, and performance. This role requires someone who communicates clearly across all levels of the organization, builds decision-point timelines for senior leadership, and brings both the technical depth and the interpersonal skills to mentor other project managers and resolve complex issues when they arise.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of construction/mining project management preferred
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor cost, schedule, and performance of related projects to ensure the overall success of the program and the region. This includes projects run by the individual, as well as projects run by other support teams.
- Coordinate all of the resources and stakeholders for any active projects being managed by the individual.
- Coordinate management of multiple related projects by developing annual and longer-term plans that support strategic objectives and portfolio planning. This includes prioritization of projects and associated resource planning.
- Assist regional leadership by managing projects and initiatives that are on a smaller scale but have a high impact to the business. This includes providing technical guidance when necessary and relevant to the Project Manager's expertise.
- Facilitate and manage stakeholder requirements, expectations, and communications.
- Review of proposed project estimates, scopes, and purpose as it relates to the support of the regional program.
