Senior Project Manager (10+ Years)
About The Position
Coffman Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Manager with 10+ years of experience to join its Mechanical Engineering department in the Seattle office, supporting the Energy Group. The role supports major battery energy storage, data center, photovoltaic, and power generation projects, including work for large Korean clients. The Senior Project Manager will provide project management services to multidisciplinary teams working across multiple time zones. Responsibilities include managing teams and coordinating internal and external communications in the development of deliverables, direct client management, occasional site visits, managing meetings and budgets, quality control, and overseeing engineering design execution. The position is intended as a long-term role on a collaborative team that emphasizes mentorship and work-life balance. Korean fluency is required. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a technical field such as manufacturing, energy, or power.
- Fluency in Korean.
- Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with MS Office programs.
- Desire to work as a proactive team player.
- Exceptional technical writing and communication skills in English and Korean.
Nice To Haves
- Project management experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration.
- Experience working with Korean engineering and/or OEM firms.
Responsibilities
