Job Summary The Senior Project Manager will assume a critical leadership role in overseeing and directing large-scale heavy-highway and heavy-civil construction projects. This position requires extensive experience in project management, along with exceptional leadership, technical skills, and proficiency in various construction management software tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in senior project management within the heavy-highway or heavy-civil construction industry.
Mastery in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI), Oracle P6 Scheduling Software, Viewpoint Vista ERP System, and Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation.
Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
Demonstrated success in managing multi-million-dollar construction projects.

Responsibilities

Lead comprehensive planning, execution, and completion of large-scale construction projects, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and client requirements.
Expertly utilize Oracle P6 Scheduling Software for complex project scheduling, resource management, and progress tracking.
Facilitate high-level communication and collaboration among project teams, clients, and key stakeholders.
Create strategic presentations and detailed reports using Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Oversee the development and maintenance of thorough project documentation, ensuring all aspects of the project are accurately recorded and reported.
Employ Microsoft Power BI for sophisticated data analysis, providing strategic insights for decision-making.
Manage and cultivate relationships with all project stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and subcontractors.
Proactively address stakeholder concerns, ensuring high satisfaction and effective communication.
Direct budget development and financial management for the project, using Excel and Viewpoint Vista ERP System.
Implement advanced cost-control strategies, ensuring financial efficiency and project profitability.
Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations across all project activities.
Utilize Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation for rigorous design compliance and quality assurance.
Lead risk assessment and mitigation efforts, developing comprehensive strategies to address and solve complex project challenges.
Implement and oversee robust risk management plans and contingency measures.
Provide visionary leadership and direction to project teams, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Foster professional growth and skill development within the team, ensuring high levels of team performance.
