About The Position

WSP is seeking an experienced water infrastructure leader to help strengthen and grow our Massachusetts water practice. This individual will lead major projects, develop staff, improve delivery performance, and help build a high-performing team capable of supporting continued growth throughout New England. This role is ideal for a leader who finds as much satisfaction in developing people and building operational excellence as in delivering technically complex projects. You will work closely with regional leadership on growth initiatives, play a key role in recruiting and succession planning, and have real influence over how the practice operates and evolves. The Massachusetts market is expanding — driven by MassDEP regulatory requirements, PFAS response, and a multi-year infrastructure investment cycle across municipal utilities throughout the Commonwealth. WSP is building the team to meet that demand. This is an opportunity to be part of that build — not to manage a steady-state operation. Influence how projects are delivered across the region, play a key role in recruiting, mentoring, and developing future leaders, work closely with regional leadership on growth and operational initiatives, and have clear paths toward Area Manager, Operations Leader, and Practice Leader roles.
