You will be part of the Business Operations team within the Pharma Technical Cell and Gene Therapy (PTC) organization. This team collaborates across local, regional, and global levels, engaging with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop innovative capabilities for our cell and gene therapy portfolio. Your role will be crucial in advancing Roche’s portfolio by managing technical projects, leading cross-functional initiatives, supporting portfolio management, and establishing business process and project management standards within PTC. Additionally, you will lead strategic communication efforts, translating complex data and information into clear, impactful messages for the organization and senior stakeholders using your expertise in imaging, digital publishing, and presentation design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • 5+ years of project management experience in the pharma/biotech industry
  • Deep proficiency in diverse project management methodologies with the ability to adapt frameworks to meet evolving team and stakeholder needs, to create results and to drive efficiency.
  • Exceptional English skills with a proven ability to influence and convey information to senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in creating professional-grade multimedia, including video, image editing, and executive presentations, and managing internal platforms like SharePoint or Google Sites.
  • Ability to build constructive relationships across global teams and foster a culture of inclusion without direct authority.
  • Skilled in G-Suite, MS Office, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Spotfire and in building collaborative solutions in e.g. Airtable or Monday.

  • Experience in cell and gene therapies is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define objectives and direct the scope, timelines, budgets as applicable and manage risk and performance for multiple complex local and global projects.
  • Translate complex information into resonant messages and high-impact narratives for the broader organization and senior stakeholders.
  • Manage the internal branding, digital portals, and large-scale events like Town Halls.
  • Implement lean methodologies, best practices and advanced tools to enhance operational efficiency, standardization and reporting.
