About The Position

The Senior Project Manager, Store Operations is responsible for developing detailed strategies, project scope and implementation plans to manage multiple projects in support of store operations. Vets all processes and procedures before, during, and after implementation to stores, ensuring clear communication and description of changes, creates training, and follows up to ensure effectiveness. Works with the operations project team on all projects, initiatives, and updates that affect the stores and field team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues as well as recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Strong professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of generally accepted Human Capital financial principles including but not limited to HR analytics.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • MicroStrategy Business Intelligence experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages project scope, schedule, and cost to ensure that the project meets its goals and delivers the intended value.
  • Leads and plans projects to ensure clear definitions, optimal resource usage, and risk management through effective meetings and sessions.
  • Efficiently communicates project status across departments.
  • Updates training documents for new policies, procedures, and initiatives, and creates materials to track and assess project performance.
  • Establishes relationships with leadership and stakeholders across the organization to ensure project objectives are met and deadlines are adhered to, while fostering support for necessary changes.
  • Works in conjunction with other departments to promptly identify and resolve issues related to projects or initiatives.
  • Builds communication around new projects and initiatives, ensuring business partners involved in the project are well informed and trained.
  • Ensures effectiveness of assigned projects, initiatives, and updates.
  • Follows up on implementation to ensure projects are running smoothly.
  • Maintains Physical Inventory business process, including, but not limited to, vendor relationships, annual physical inventory scheduling in partnership with IAO, and store/field leader support for physical inventories in partnership with the Operations Support.
  • Develops targeted and actionable change management plans including communication plans, training plans, and roll out schedules, to ensure successful delivery of initiative.
  • Tracking the effectiveness of technologies implemented to improve logistics operations.
  • Protects the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
