About The Position
Fehr Graham is a growing Midwest engineering and environmental firm seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager in engineering or environmental engineering to ensure project success. As a Senior Project Manager, you will provide essential technical guidance and administrative services, facilitating efficient, profitable, and timely project execution. You will be the primary contact for clients, playing a key role in business development, including proposal preparation, presentations, client relationship management, and public relations support. The position is based in either our West Union or Manchester, Iowa offices, with leadership responsibilities across both. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Five to seven years of experience in municipal project management
- Experience in the consulting industry
- Certified in Project Management
- Professional license in respective discipline
- Strong speaking and writing skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Team player
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring client needs are met with precision and professionalism.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, contracts, and presentations.
- Oversee projects to ensure their success.
- Coordinate projects, resolving scheduling, staffing, or quality issues.
- Lead project teams, including staff and subconsultants, to deliver results.
- Invoice clients, provide explanations for billed items, and follow up on accounts.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to company standards for online filing and documentation.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis for project write-offs and ensure quality control for assigned projects.
- Communicate technical concepts and ideas to clients and team members.
- Prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Work across multiple disciplines to cross-market services.
