About The Position

Titan Mechanical & Plumbing is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. This position is responsible for overseeing large-scale multifamily mechanical construction projects, with a strong focus on HVAC and plumbing operations, from preconstruction and project startup through successful completion and closeout. The ideal candidate is an experienced construction professional with a proven ability to manage complex projects, coordinate field and office teams, maintain strong relationships with general contractors and owners, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in mechanical construction, with senior-level experience strongly preferred.
  • Multifamily construction experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and/or plumbing construction, installation, sequencing, and coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large and complex construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, job costing, change-order management, purchasing, and scheduling.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
  • Experience working directly with general contractors, owners, field leadership, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with construction project management software and Microsoft Office applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple large-scale multifamily HVAC and plumbing projects from startup through completion.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Review contracts, scopes of work, drawings, specifications, submittmits, RFIs, change orders, and purchase orders.
  • Identify potential cost, scheduling, coordination, and constructability issues before they impact the project.
  • Coordinate closely with field leadership to ensure proper manpower, materials, equipment, and project sequencing.
  • Maintain strong communication with general contractors, owners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers and ensure commitments align with project schedules and budgets.
  • Track project financial performance, including committed costs, projected costs, change orders, billing, and overall profitability.
  • Lead project meetings and provide clear updates regarding schedule, budget, manpower, outstanding issues, and project risks.
  • Ensure change-order opportunities are identified, documented, priced, submitted, and followed through to resolution.
  • Work closely with field leadership to resolve installation, coordination, and production issues.
  • Mentor and provide direction to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Coordinators as needed.
  • Ensure projects are properly documented and closed out in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain accountability for project performance while proactively communicating significant issues to senior leadership.
