We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Enterprise IT team and play a key role in delivering strategic technology and transformation initiatives that support Civica's global growth. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of complex, high-value IT projects across Civica's global operations. Working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior leadership, you will drive projects from initiation through to implementation and handover. You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to Civica's technology strategy, while creating measurable business value and operational improvements. Requirements

  • 7+ years' experience delivering complex IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects in global environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development, IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and modern delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams and external vendors.
  • Strong project planning, governance, and risk management expertise.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Results-driven with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of organizational change and its impact on business operations.

Nice To Haves

  • PRINCE2, Agile, PMP, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience working within enterprise PMO environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT and digital transformation projects, including cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, and enterprise platforms.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success measures.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, schedules, governance packs, and status reporting.
  • Manage project resources and cross-functional teams to achieve delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure successful project closure and transition to operational ownership.
  • Act as the primary contact for project stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Facilitate collaboration across business and technical teams with differing priorities.
  • Deliver clear, concise, and actionable updates to leadership and governance forums.
  • Translate technical concepts into business-focused outcomes and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO standards, governance frameworks, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor project expenditure and ensure alignment with approved business cases.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, Statements of Work (SoWs), and supplier performance.
  • Track benefits realization and value delivery throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and motivate diverse global project teams.
  • Mentor junior project managers and support PMO capability development.
  • Promote continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and lessons learned.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
