About The Position

We are seeking highly experienced Senior Project Managers to lead capital and operational projects in highly regulated industrial environments. This role requires a seasoned professional who can independently manage projects end‑to‑end and has a strong command of the decision gate process —from initial scoping and budgeting through execution, closeout, and handover, within an integrated team. The ideal candidate is a self‑directed leader with strong financial acumen, deep experience in regulated industries, and the ability to communicate fluently with other project management professionals using standard PM methodologies and terminology.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of project management experience, preferably in nuclear, energy, chemical, or other highly regulated industrial facilities
  • PMP certification required
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal oversight
  • Proven experience managing full project lifecycle ownership with assigned budgets
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget development and cost control
  • Direct experience working in highly regulated environments
  • Superior communication skills, with the ability to converse confidently and professionally with senior project management peers and technical stakeholders
  • Must be willing and able to work on‑site in Amarillo, TX
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Willingness to travel or relocate as required

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver complex projects from initiation to delivery from project definition through completion
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality requirements applicable to nuclear and highly regulated industrial environments
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with engineering, operations, finance, and regulatory teams using recognized project management frameworks and language
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
  • Track financial performance and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide clear, concise project reporting to leadership
