About The Position

JLL is seeking a Hotels & Hospitality Senior Project Manager specializing in hospitality development, renovation & adaptive re-use to join their Project and Development Services team. This role involves leading hotel renovations and developments as an extension of the owner’s team, requiring a holistic approach to client needs. The position demands facilitating critical stakeholder meetings, providing on-site project leadership, and applying financial acumen to meet client goals. Responsibilities include issuing RFPs, managing consultant contracts, handling monthly invoicing, budgeting & reporting, overseeing FF&E procurement, driving schedules, conducting weekly meetings, construction oversight, and managing punch lists & closeout. SPMs are typically assigned 2-5 projects concurrently, depending on project scope. The role requires ground-up construction and extensive hotel renovation experience. Travel may be necessary (0-4 days per week). This client-facing role is based out of the Southern Florida/Miami area.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • 7 + years of relevant experience related to project or construction management.
  • Hospitality, Hotel, F&B, Luxury construction project management experience.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to take meticulous notes and maintain financial reporting for multimillion dollar projects.
  • Self-starter and able to approach problems head-on.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish relationships with all levels of the organization & external clients.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools.
  • Proven track record of results.
  • Ability to act decisively, think big, and manage time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
