Learn more about it on our website. This role is responsible for the overall direction, financial and risk management of large commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in construction management or equivalent experience in electrical construction management preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in construction or electrical related project management
  • Experience managing multiple large projects valued above $10 million
  • Experience leading project teams of 30 or more resources on projects lasting at least 12 months
  • Demonstrated experience with resource management and risk and change management
  • Strong knowledge of Bluebeam, Trimble Accubid, and MS Office Suite
  • Strong planning, organizing, delegation, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel regionally to project sites required throughout the Middle Tennessee region.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the people, resources, goals and deliverables necessary to make the project successful.
  • Facilitate and design the overall project, scope, and deliverables.
  • Formulate full-scale project plans with timelines, tasks, resources, and budget.
  • Prioritize, delegate, assess risk, communicate, and multi-task.
  • Collaborate, direct, and get the job done when problems arise, things get off track, or an emergency presents itself.
  • Mitigate problems through proper use of processes, standards, and early risk assessment.
  • Measure progress and results, financial and otherwise.
  • Provide clarity and make the complex simple for those around you.
  • Accurately plan and forecast.
  • Connect strategies to outcome and results.
  • Build and maintain relationships with GCs, subcontractors, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Be visible and accessible on job sites.
  • Confidently influence others and resolve conflict.
  • Treat others with respect, appreciate differences, collaborate on the big things and communicate to prevent and avert problems.
