This role is responsible for the overall direction, financial and risk management of large commercial and industrial electrical construction projects. Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple large projects.
  • Ability to manage people, resources, goals, and deliverables necessary to make the project successful.
  • Hold the Safety of the FZ team as a top priority.
  • Facilitate and design the overall project, scope, and deliverables.
  • Effectively formulate project plans with timelines, tasks, resources, and budget.
  • Skills include prioritization, delegation, risk assessment, communicating and multi-tasking.
  • Recognize that problems can be mitigated through proper use of processes, standards, and early risk assessment.
  • Understand the importance of measuring progress and results, financial and otherwise.
  • Accountable for accurate planning and forecasting.
  • Build relationships with GCs, subcontractors, vendors, and coworkers.
  • 7+ years of experience in construction or electrical related project management.
  • Experience managing multiple large projects valued above $10 million.
  • Experience leading project teams of 30 or more resources on projects lasting at least 12 months.
  • Demonstrated experience with resource management and risk and change management.
  • Strong knowledge of Bluebeam, Trimble Accubid, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong planning, organizing, delegation, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally to project sites required throughout the Middle Tennessee region.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s in construction management or equivalent experience in electrical construction management preferred.
