About The Position

The Senior Project Manager in Product Consulting leads day-to-day delivery for client engagements, guiding teams through Agile and/or Waterfall execution to achieve clear outcomes. You help teams stay organized and focused by keeping plans clear, work visible, and decisions moving. At this level, you coordinate dependencies, manage scope, maintain clear communication, and support delivery teams through risks and issues while building strong stakeholder partnerships and reinforcing predictable delivery. You work closely with the delivery team and client stakeholders to make sure expectations match what the team can deliver, and that changes are handled in a controlled way. This is an hybrid position with being 3 days onsite in Hartford, CT and the remaining days remotely, which will eventually move to fully remote down the road.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in project management.
  • Scrum Master certification.
  • Experience leading a Scrum team.
  • Ability to analyze situations quickly and resolve conflict effectively.
  • Experience implementing Agile techniques.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and/or Jira preferred.
  • Strong communication skills that are articulate, straightforward, thoughtful, and consistent, with strong interpersonal and mentoring skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong interest in using technology to solve problems.
  • Natural inclination for building and fostering relationships with clients and project teams.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and guide a team through issue resolution.

  • Experience managing all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience in the Microsoft technology ecosystem preferred.
  • Proficiency using artificial intelligence tools to improve personal and team efficiency.
  • Define and run delivery plans across Agile and/or Waterfall engagements, including milestones, dependencies, and tracking.
  • Maintain governance for day-to-day execution, including decision making, escalation, and reporting.
  • Track delivery health through timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Produce clear, concise status reporting and guide discussions on tradeoffs.
  • Use tools such as Azure DevOps and/or Jira to manage work visibility and team execution where applicable.
  • Support scope and prioritization conversations by clarifying tradeoffs and sequencing work against goals and constraints.
  • Partner with stakeholders to balance competing priorities and changing requirements while maintaining delivery focus.
  • Help translate stakeholder needs into actionable delivery plans and backlog expectations in collaboration with the team.
  • Coordinate with design and delivery contributors so experience work stays connected to delivery plans.
  • Support feedback loops by incorporating learnings into planning and prioritization discussions.
  • Maintain alignment between stakeholder expectations, delivery realities, and user needs through clear communication.
  • Build trust with client stakeholders through consistent communication, follow through, and strong meeting facilitation.
  • Navigate conflict, ambiguity, and change by bringing structure to decisions and focusing teams on outcomes.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities by supporting planning, delivery approach input, and engagement readiness.
  • Help shape and improve client engagement processes through practical lessons learned from delivery.

Responsibilities
