About The Position
A nationally recognized real estate owner, developer, and operator is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, Construction to oversee development and redevelopment projects across the Dallas/Fort Worth market. This role is ideal for a construction professional with strong experience in retail, mixed-use, and commercial redevelopment projects who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of construction project management experience
- Experience with retail, mixed-use, shopping center, or redevelopment construction projects
- Strong understanding of commercial construction operations and project delivery
- Technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and MEP systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Experience working with: Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel
Nice To Haves
- Experience working for a commercial general contractor, developer, owner’s representative, or REIT
- Redevelopment and tenant improvement experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead construction execution for assigned development and redevelopment projects
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and overall construction performance
- Monitor construction progress and ensure projects stay aligned with approved timelines
- Review and manage RFIs, change orders, pay applications, and lien waivers
- Oversee quality control and field coordination activities
- Maintain construction documentation including project reporting and site photos
- Provide technical construction guidance to internal teams
- Coordinate testing, inspections, and consultant activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Travel to project sites as needed throughout the region
