About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects within a hands-on subcontractor environment. This is a high-impact role for an experienced PM who can own project performance end-to-end, managing complex HVAC systems, piping installations, and field operations across multiple active jobs. You’ll play a key role in driving execution, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high-quality standards.

Requirements

8+ years of experience managing commercial HVAC or mechanical construction projects
Strong background in commercial HVAC systems (residential-only experience will not be considered)
Experience with a mechanical contractor, HVAC subcontractor, or design-build firm
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with full ownership
Strong leadership experience managing field teams and subcontractors
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
Experience with project scheduling and cost control tools (MS Project or similar)
Comfortable in a hands-on, fast-paced contractor environment

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout
Lead field teams, subcontractors, and internal staff across concurrent job sites
Manage complex HVAC systems, piping scopes, and mechanical installations
Drive project schedules, cost control, and execution, resolving issues proactively
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and leadership
Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to guide field execution
Manage RFIs, submittments, change orders, and project documentation
Support procurement strategy, subcontractor selection, and coordination
