About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is hiring for a Senior Project Management Specialist to be located in El Segundo, CA. BDS is a global leader in the development, production, maintenance and enhancement of fixed-wing and rotary wing aircraft, commercial and government satellites, human spaceflight programs and weapons. Key markets include aeronautics, space and weapons. Core capabilities are in development, production and mission enabling upgrades of integrated solutions. Our Electrical Engineers develop electronic and electrical system requirements using analytical and technical skills, translate requirements into system architectures and modify hardware and software designs for Boeing aircraft, unmanned vehicles and much more.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher
Level 4 (Senior) 10+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s or 8+ years of work-related experience with Masters or 4+ years with a PhD
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Successful candidates for this job must satisfy Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Level 4 (Senior): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

Responsibilities

Create and release EEE part records for all El Segundo programs
Manage all Request for Additions (RFA), Approved Parts List (APL) and Authorized Material and Processes List (AMPL) requests.
Review, submit, and release Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA) and Radiation change forms to Parts, Materials, and Process Control (PMPC) for approval. Work with Demand side to clear Restricted Quals for kit and sell-off.
Coordinate release and Prohibited Material Part Utilization Approvals (PMPUAs) along with other PMPC Change docs.
Review all qualifications and specs released in TeamCenter and update APL as needed.
