About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Management Manager (Level M) to join our dynamic team in Mesa, Arizona or Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. This position manages employees and mid-level managers, developing projects and program plans at all levels across functional areas and executing all project phases to achieve objectives within scope, time, quality, and constraints from initiation to post completion. The role involves developing and executing integrated organizational plans, policies, and procedures, and guiding the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives. The manager will acquire resources for organizational activities, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements. Additionally, they will develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports, providing oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes. The position also includes managing, developing, and motivating employees and mid-level managers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, and/or related disciplines
  • 5+ years of experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as: Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project Professional, Enterprise Project Management, or a similar tool
  • 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing a cross-functional team
  • Must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
