About The Position

This role is responsible for direct oversight of Ambassador Regional Project Leads and their teams, as well as the IQVIA Ambassador Project Training team. The Senior Project Lead Field Director will communicate regularly with the AbbVie Ambassador Director, ensuring the IQVIA Force has the necessary resources and operational support to meet patient and AbbVie expectations. The role involves developing and implementing communication plans for AbbVie’s Ambassador organization, attending and co-leading program staff meetings with AbbVie leadership, and identifying opportunities to optimize operational strategies and tactics for patient value. Collaboration with AbbVie and IQVIA Senior Leadership on KPI development and providing updates on policy impacts are key responsibilities. The position also includes providing patient support activities for other AbbVie programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 8+ years of leadership experience within nursing services, patient support programs, healthcare operations, pharmaceutical services, or related healthcare environments.
  • Budgetary management experience.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to examine business environment and develop/execute in response to market opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of the market including trends and issues as they relate to the patient journey and insights.
  • Ability to travel (40-60%)
  • Ability to lead and drive for results in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills.
  • Strong and effective presentation skills; excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Initiative and vision: develop strategy and deliver results.
  • Drive and enthusiasm.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build and inspire support for initiatives.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with third parties using good negotiation skills.
  • Proven success working with or within patient advocacy organization or other patient health-related, communicate focused organizations providing services to targeted populations.
  • Fully competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products (e.g. CFR 210/211, cGMP)
  • Ambassador Program or comparable operational supervision experience (3+ years) as Field Manager (DM or higher) experience.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Incentive Compensation Plan development and execution.
  • Veeva / Sales Force.com Database experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for direct oversight of Ambassador Regional Project Leads and their teams and of IQVIA Ambassador Project Training team.
  • Communicate with AbbVie Ambassador Director on a regular and timely basis.
  • Ensure that IQVIA Force have the appropriate resources and operational support required to deliver on both patient and AbbVie expectations.
  • Develop and implement a robust plan to facilitate clear communication to AbbVie’s Ambassador organization.
  • Attend and jointly lead weekly program staff meetings in conjunction with the AbbVie leadership team.
  • Identify opportunities and participate in the development of operational strategies, tactics and resources required to drive performance and optimize value for patients.
  • Collaborate with AbbVie and IQVIA Senior Leadership to support KPI development.
  • Provide Senior Leadership with updates on policy developments and likely impact to patients and service delivery.
  • Provide patient support activities as directed for other AbbVie programs and initiatives.
