•$113,200 - $188,800•Remote

About The Position

Within GE Vernova’s Gas Power Heavy Duty Plant Engineering Americas team, the Senior Project Engineering Manager leads the complete project engineering team across disciplines, product lines, and subcontracted services to deliver integrated plant solutions spanning Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Generator, HRSG, and Balance of Plant scope. The role is located in Schenectady, New York, and is under the operational responsibility of the Americas Pole Leader for Project Engineering Management. The posting identifies the position as remote. The manager is the primary technical interface with Customers and Partners and owns plant-level technical decisions, including design freeze and risk mitigation. The role ensures compliance with contractual, regulatory, EHS, and quality requirements; drives technical decisions; manages engineering budgets and schedules; oversees customer documentation; and coordinates site support and project handovers. It requires close collaboration with project management, engineering disciplines, product lines, and external Customers and Partners. The role has moderate autonomy and requires high levels of operational judgment. The manager owns engineering execution of BOP-scoped projects from contract signature through fulfillment of GE’s contractual obligations, and may lead a total project solution across all product lines. This includes serving as the global technical project focal point, flowing project requirements down across GT/ST/Gen/HRSG/BOP, resolving technical issues at the system level, and managing the plant/BOP budget and cost-out initiatives. The position also contributes specialized expertise, best practices, quality, process improvement, and mentoring.
